Dear Colleagues,
Sadly I have to report the death of our beloved colleague Russell White whose funeral was on Monday 5th January 2026.
Romany has asked me to let friends know that Russell’s last six months
were challenging with complex medical conditions against a background of Alzheimer’s
dementia. Furthermore, Romany wants to
raise awareness of this ‘brutal life changing disease’ and highlight Russell’s
courage since his first diagnosis in 2018.
I have extended our collective sympathies to Romany knowing she is part of a group of friends from the year who will doubtless be a support network for the future.
Wishing all a Happy New Year in the awareness that we are all getting older and need to take great care of ourselves and each other.
